Love my 1L bonavita variable temp kettle, going on eight years strong

I have a Bonavita gooseneck with temp control. Not the fanciest or trendiest one on the market, but I have no complaints.

The Bonavita line is a great budget option. They're not design objects, but they perform well, and you can buy it for stovetop, electric boil or electric temp control.

Another vote for Bonavita. I’ve had two over the past 12 years and the only reason the first one stopped was because I soaked the base in water.

I have 2 1-liter BV Goosenecks and 1 1.7 liter. I love them all, and all work great.

I have the Bonavita variable but without the gooseneck. Been great, have had it for about two years now.

The Bonavita has a lot of silly quirks that the Stagg fixes. The most annoying of which is the hold turning off every time the kettle leaves the base, where hold stays on for the Stagg.

My Bonavita starting leaking from where the gooseneck attached to the kettle so I finally had to replace it a couple years ago. It lasted 7.5 years.

My bonavita held up well for about 7. No so much as even a bit of rust, either. Then, it started to malfunction. Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. Temp jumps around, and input doesn't register.
